Looking inside the home of Fabienne and Jethro

Fabienne and Jethro walked by the I-KOOK store in Oud Beijerland. Fabienne honestly admits that she was not immediately enamored with the store's look. Nevertheless, they walked around the showroom and struck up a conversation with kitchen coach Jereau Arends. "It really felt like a burden fell off our shoulders. The conversation went fine and we didn't get a rushed feeling at all. That was definitely the case at other stores!" says Fabienne

How the layout of the kitchen was to be Fabienne had already completely mapped out. She wanted a kitchen with wooden fronts. She soon found out that wood was much more sensitive and also very pricey. So she opted for a matte black kitchen with an anti-fingerprint coating. In this we were well advised by Jereau and were able to make the right choice. "Something has to be beautiful, but also practical."

A meeting place in the house is the bar on the peninsula. "We actually sit here a lot more than we thought we would. This is where we have breakfast together, but it's also a place where guests can sit while we're cooking. Our children also like to come there." she says.

"The wine fridge and coffee nook were a real must-have" said Fabienne. Jereau also had the idea of placing the freezer and dishwasher at height in the cabinet wall, giving us even better access! Fabienne hadn't thought of this herself and is very happy with this idea afterwards. The coffee nook is perhaps her favorite. "It makes for a cozy feeling and especially when you have guests sitting cozily at the bar."

Even though they had to wait 4 months for the delivery of the dishwasher, due to the effects of the pandemic, they are extremely happy with the service and the end result. The enjoyment can begin.
